Probably the most infamous of the bikini waxing shapes and styles, the Brazilian Wax takes away every scrap of hair in the pelvic area.
A small area of hair is sometimes left by request, and can range from a tuft to a specific shape.
The Brazilian is for you if you like thong bikinis and lingerie and it will leave you with a clean, fresh feeling.
Bikini Wax
A regular bikini wax involves the removal hair that escapes past the panty or bikini line. If it is seen past your bikini, the hair is removed. Any hair that you have either above your panties and below your belly button or on the tops of your thighs will routinely be removed.
Brazilian Wax – 45 min
The Brazilian wax continues on where the bikini wax ends. Every bit of hair in the pubic and, well… between the cheeks, is removed.
To make sure the waxing looks good and doesn’t cause irritation the skin can be prepared before hand and treated afterward. Moisturizing before will make the hair softer and more easily removed.
Since waxing is one of my specialties, regardless of what you may think, you can expect to have a quick and relatively pain free service! The first few times that you wax the hair follicles may be strong. You can expect it to get easier with regularly scheduled appointments.
When the wax is complete, we recommend toning the skin with an astringent. This closes the pores and reduces irritation and redness.
If you like to wear tiny lingerie or swimwear, a Brazilian wax will give you a sense of freedom.
Many women find it is makes them feel clean and well groomed and return for waxing every month.
The French Bikini Wax
With this style, you will end up with a vertical strip at the front which can be a thin or thick as you choose. This bikini waxing style is often called the Partial Brazilian or Landing Strip.
How Long Does Your Hair Need to be for a Brazilian?
For the wax to grab the hair completely, your hair should be about 1/5 to 1/4 of an inch long.
